This is the second set of these cables I've purchased (two different bikes) and they're still a great deal. They're inexpensive and the vendor shipped them very quickly. They work great for my needs. I'm not a hard-core biker and I don't know if there are different qualities for brake cables. If so, these may not meet the needs of the real aficionado. But for this average biker, they do the job well.

Cheap cables brake cables. They don't have a lubricated inner lining like nicer cables, resulting in a lot of resistance in cable actuation. Get something better for a bit more money.

Will Work well and it can be cut into two seperate portions to work to break or gear levers. This is all ya need! i bought 5 because my bicycles need contant maintanance, but its really only necessary to buy like 2.
