My experience is similar to the other reviewers. I fought and fought trying to mount this tire. Two tire levers were broken in the process. Then, after the bleeding subsided on my hands, I decided to put my bike in the trainer and ride. Surprise! The tube was pinched and sprung a leak. It took me another 45 minutes to unmount the tire. After changing the tube, I tried to re mount the tire. My hands started bleeding again. I broke my remaining tire lever. At this point, I swore this tire was created by sinister people who take solace in watching people suffer. I'm also writing a letter to Kenda in an attempt to get my money back. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful Too Bad, This review is from: Kinetic Trainer Tire (Misc.) It is too bad Kenda did not partner well to provide Kurt Kinetic a complimentary level of quality product. The install of this tire was very difficult. I finally got it on but as I suspected punctured the tube in the process. Frustrated I may have been the problem, I took the challenge to my local bike shop. At least I had some saving grace becuase the lead mechanic had a helluva time as well. Finally he got it on but then had to spend an excessive amount of time getting the tire to 'seed' to the rim so it would not be 'out of round'. He put a good half hour of effort and broke a good sweat inflating, deflating, reworking the bead to get the tire to seed to the rim. He finally had to accept defeat and tell me that it was the best he could do. The whole experience helped me to always remember never to buy a Kenda tire again - even if Kurt Kinetic put their label on it. My advise to others, go get another trainer tire, but keep your Kurt trainer. Kurt trainers are great - but... UPDATE (Jan 25 2011):For 26x1 version of this tire, you will need a proper inner tube as well, otherwise you will constantly pinch your inner tube like I did. I was trying to mount this tire to a mountain bike to use on a trainer, and of course mountain bike inner tubes are huge compared to this. What you need is Kenda Tube Bicycle Tire Tube in 26x1-1.25 size. Even with the proper inner tube, it's pretty hard to mount this (apparently it is the same for all trainer tires), it took my bicycle shop guy 20 minutes to mount it with the proper tube. ---------------------------------- I bought this with my Kurt Kinetic Road Machine Indoor Trainer to change my mountain bike's...
