Sadly, Hunt-Wilde is out of business. Their grips were all made with quality and a lengthy heritage of use on 60's and 70's bicycles. The factory was in Florida, so these could be some of the last American grips--Grab on to a piece of history! Sad to say some sellers are deviously substituting Chinese grips, especially watch out for colored glitter grips; when you order Hunt-Wilde, it will be cast plainly into the rubber. Look for it! If your Schwinn, Ross, Huffy, Rollfast, etc. is missing or has incorrect grips these will either be correct or about as close as you can come in new stock.

I have a 1974 Raleigh Sprite I tried to order the 7/8 Hunt wylde grips for it. after a few days I was sent grips (white) for a Schwinn bike. I emailed through amazon the scenario and requested an exchange but still no response even by phone or email. I was thrown away like garbage. Is this the right way to treat a csutomer. Naturally I only bought cheap grips but I think no matter waht amount a customer purchases the same respect and treatment must be given due to such. Until now I have never heard from Niagara Cycle works. DO NOT ORDER from them. I shall only recall and take back this review if a positive settlement of the issue is made. Cheap grips cannot even deliver. how sad.
